Medium: FDM 3D Print (PLA)
Overview: When Google Stadia first came out, there was a small but enthusiastic customer base. There wasn’t much in terms of accessories so I designed my own including this well-received controller mount.
Design
The mount was designed to be cohesive with the aesthetic of the Stadia Controller. The mount can be printed with no support material because overhangs do not exceed 40°. Best of all, the mount is designed to be easily mounted using standard using command strips.
Fun Notes
It is always energizing to see small projects like this get traction. This was designed over the course of a day because it was something I wanted to use. It has been awesome to see others print these out for their own controllers!
While it might be irritating to others, I even loved seeing a remix of my project being sold without attribution on Etsy! I was never going to market this design so if someone else wants to, power to them.
